Overview of Annexation
The North Corridor area north of Coralville and East of North Liberty (Click here for a map of the area). Both North Liberty and the City of Coralville have proposed Aannexation of land in this area. The citizens living in this area have expressed overwhelming interest in joining the City of North Liberty. Citizens for Sensible Development has supported these citizens in ther request to join North Liberty. Two North Liberty annexation requests have been filed. The first is coming before the City Development Board (Click here for maps of the annexation) . This request is 100% voluntary (all those involved wish to be annexed). The Board will take listen to the North Liberty City Council to ask if they support this request. A competing request, put forward by the City of Coralville may be considered at the same time. This second request is not 100% voluntary, and was made after the C.S.D. supported request.
